Content Publishing Workflow

Prerequisites:

Procedure:

  1. Upload Assets

    1. Path: Content Management > Media Center > “Upload Material”

    2. Formats & Size:

      1. Images: JPEG, PNG; ≤ 15 MB.
      2. Video: MP4, MOV (H.264 codec); ≤ 10 GB.
        💡 Tip: If MOV/MP4 fails review, verify it uses the H.264 codec.
    3. Asset Review

      The system (AI) automatically reviews uploads. Approved assets can be used in Content Templates.

  2. Create Template

    1. Path: Content Management > Content Template List > “Create Template”

      Select a Template Type, for example: Full Screen (fullscreen playback).

    2. Template Settings

      1. Content Name

      2. During Execution : Validity

        Select: Continuous / End Date / Counts

      3. Loop Mode : Repeat Rule

        Choose: Daily / Weekdays / Specific weekdays

      4. Playback Time

        1. Enter start time
        2. Enter end time
        3. Click Add Time Slot to add a slot.


      5. Playback Content

        1. Select images or videos

        2. Image duration is customizable

        3. Drag to reorder playback sequence

      6. Save Template

        Click Confirm at the top-right to save the template.

  3. Apply & Publish Template

    1. Content Templates > Apply > Select Devices

      Click Apply in the template’s action column and select devices.

    2. Content Templates > Publish

      Click Publish in the template’s action column to publish.

    3. A single device can apply multiple templates. If playback times overlap, items will rotate (carousel).
  4. Enable “Content Player”

    1. Path: Device Management > Merchant & Device > Select Device > Device Command > Nubis Cast



    2. Switches

    3. Device behavior is controlled by two toggles:
      1.  “Nubis Cast Mode”: controls silent install/uninstall of the Nubis Cast app.

        1. On: Silently installs the Nubis Cast app.
        2. Off: Silently uninstalls the Nubis Cast app.
      2.  “Nubis Cast Launch” : controls entering or exiting playback mode.

        1. On: Enters playback mode.
          1. Within the template’s valid time window, plays content.
          2. Outside valid windows / when paused / when device association is removed, shows the preset screen:

            1. Paused:

        2. Off: Exits playback mode, returns to the original screen.
