Prerequisites:

1. Upload Assets
   

   1. Path: Content Management > Media Center > “Upload Material”
      
      

   2. Formats & Size:

      1. Images: JPEG, PNG; ≤ 15 MB.
      2. Video: MP4, MOV (H.264 codec); ≤ 10 GB.
         💡 Tip: If MOV/MP4 fails review, verify it uses the H.264 codec.

   3. Asset Review

      The system (AI) automatically reviews uploads. Approved assets can be used in Content Templates.
      
      

2. Create Template

   1. Path: Content Management > Content Template List > “Create Template”

      Select a Template Type, for example: Full Screen (fullscreen playback).
      
      

   2. Template Settings

      2. During Execution : Validity

         Select: Continuous / End Date / Counts
         
         

      3. Loop Mode : Repeat Rule

         Choose: Daily / Weekdays / Specific weekdays

      4. Playback Time

         1. Enter start time
         2. Enter end time
         3. Click Add Time Slot to add a slot.
            

            
            

      5. Playback Content

         1. Select images or videos
            
         
         
         2. Image duration is customizable

      6. Save Template

         Click Confirm at the top-right to save the template.
         
         

3. Enable “Content Player”

Device behavior is controlled by two toggles:


1.  “Nubis Cast Mode”: controls silent install/uninstall of the Nubis Cast app.
   

1. Enable: Silently installs the Nubis Cast app.
2. Disable: Silently uninstalls the Nubis Cast app.
   
   
   

2.  “Nubis Cast Launch” : controls entering or exiting playback mode.

1. Enable: Enters playback mode.
1. Within the template’s valid time window, plays content.
   
2. Outside valid windows / when paused / when device association is removed, shows the preset screen:
   
   
2. Disable: Exits playback mode, returns to the original screen.
   

4. Apply & Publish Template

2. Content Templates > Apply > Select Devices

   Click Apply in the template’s action column and select devices.
   
   

3. Content Templates > Publish
   

1. Click Publish in the template’s action column to publish.
   
2. A single device can apply multiple templates. If playback times overlap, items will rotate (carousel).
   

5. On-Device Nubis Cast Management
   

   Path: Open Ora > Task Detail > Nubis Cast.
   The Nubis Cast tab in the Ora provides details on status, storage, and the active playlist.
   
   
   

1. Basic Info & Actions
   

   • Nubis Cast Mode: Indicates if the service is Enabled/Disabled.
     
   • Nubis Cast Version: Current app version.
       └─ Click Check Update to manually check for updates.
   • Media Storage:
     • Path: Absolute local path for media files.
     • Capacity: Storage space currently used.
     • Click Clear Media to delete all media files manually.
       
   💡 Storage Cleanup Policy:
   The system monitors storage usage. If the media folder exceeds 5 GB or total disk usage exceeds 80%, media files will be automatically purged.

2. Playback List
   

1. Name & Version: Applied template details.
   
2. Play Time: Scheduled playback window (e.g., Daily 09:00 - 19:00).
   
3. Effective Time:Timestamp when the policy was applied.
   
   Use this list to verify that schedules published from the cloud have been correctly synchronized.
