How can I do if Windows Firewall blocks Ora?

🔐 Nubis Firewall Requirements

It’s likely that your devices are protected by a firewall. To ensure proper communication with Nubis, please make sure the following URLs and ports are allowed.

If you’re configuring your firewall for Nubis for the first time, we recommend starting with our checklist as below.
Whether you're new to Nubis or already familiar with our firewall requirements, this page serves as a useful reference for the most up-to-date firewall configuration details.

Preparing the Firewall Allow list

Identify Your Devices

Before setting up your firewall allow list, begin by identifying the types of devices you’ll be working with. These may include:
  • GMS (Google Mobile Services) devices
  • Non-GMS devices, such as those using AOSP (Android Open Source Project)
  • iOS devices
  • Foundation devices
  • Or a mix of the above
Knowing your device types will help ensure the appropriate URLs and ports are allowed for seamless connectivity.

2. Find Your Nubis Agent(Ora) Version

Some firewall rules may depend on the specific version of the Nubis Agent installed on your device.

3. Learn About Our Features

Lastly, learn more about the features you’ll be enabling for some of these firewalls. Links are included to learn more about the feature.

To learn more about firewall terms, see the glossary at the bottom of this page.

Notes:

  • All firewall rules are outbound.
  • HTTPS ports are encrypted.
  • If your merchant uses GMS devices, see Android's network requirements as well.

4. Allow the Required Domains and Ports

All Devices
These firewall rules will generally apply to all device types. For general Android requirements, see Android's network requirements.
