Kiosk Mode

Overview

Navigate to Device Management > Merchant & Device, then click the serial number of the desired device. You will be redirected to the Device Detail Page. Refer to the Single Command Bar located on the left side of the page.

Kiosk Mode - Windows and Android Features Explained

  1. For Windows systems, the Kiosk Mode will hide the start menu and notification, and the wallpaper will turn black. It will reboot the system automatically when users turn on/off the Kiosk Mode. 
  2. For Android systems, the Kiosk Mode will hide the navigation bar and notification bar. 

This mode provides Kiosk devices a convenient method to set up. The option “Default startup APP” is used to set a retail application as a default running APP. The APP will keep operating no matter how many times the system restarts.


Steps for setting Kiosk Mode

  1. Select either execute the task immediately or select a future date.
  2. Enable/Disable the Kiosk Mode.
  3. Set an application to automatically run when Kiosk Mode is on. Enter the directory of the application provides an additional feature for Kiosk Mode.
    e.g. C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe
  4. Click the Confirm button to send this task.
