Enroll a Device(For Android Devices)
Overview
You’re using Nubis today probably because your organization needs to manage their devices at scale. To start using Nubis for device management, you’ll need to enroll your devices.
You need to install Ora in all devices, so that Nubis can work. Ora will connects the edge(devices) and the cloud(Nubis). Transfer the required data and command to fulfill the functions in Nubis.

Download and install Ora
- Using your computer, download the Android Ora execution file from the Nubis login page. Access the link here: https://www.nubiscloud.io

- Using your computer, download the ADB installation file from the following link and extract it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qlNTaV_v0LpF4rjyTLJvboMIdM4pTUqX/view?usp=sharing.

- Prepare the Android device you want to activate.
- On the Android device, open Developer options and turn on USB Debugging.
(This button is usually under Settings, System, Advanced.)


Note that If you can’t find Developer options, go to Settings, About device, phone, tablet, then tap Build number seven times to enable it.
- Use a USB cable to connect the Android device to your computer, where the Android Device Bridge (ADB) tool has already been installed.
- Using the computer, put the downloaded "ora_android_general.apk" into the ADB folder.
- Type “cmd” in the folder path to enter the command prompt.
- There are four sets of code as follows. Please copy and paste each set of code in order, one at a time.
- adb devices
- adb install ora_android_general.apk
- (Here, If there is a pop-up on the android device screen, click Allow to ensure the system has permission to access the device. Then turn back to computer to re-enter the command.)
- adb shell dpm set-device-owner com.fec.edgemanagement/.receiver.MyDeviceAdminReceiver
- adb shell am start -n com.fec.edgemanagement/.MainActivity2
- After using the ADB tool, the "Ora" app will be installed on the device.
Activation process
- Click the icon of Android Ora. A pop-up will show.
(Android Device Screen) - Using your mobile to scan the QR code. Then, Mobile Screen will redirect to a web page to show you the device information.

- Enter the Company/Merchant TOKEN to activate the device. This Token will determine which Company/Merchant the device belongs to, and you can change the settings later if needed.

- Once you enter the Token, the Ora status will show as “Activated.”
How to get the TOKEN?
Go to either Account Center or Nubis to get your activation token.
1. Get the Company Token:
Account Center > View
The device will be assigned to the warehouse under the company.
2. Get the Merchant Token:
Nubis > select a company > merchant & Device > Select a merchant > Profile Info
The device will be assigned to the warehouse under the company.
