Step 1: Enroll a Device(For Windows Devices)

Overview

You’re using Nubis today probably because your organization needs to manage their devices at scale. To start using Nubis for device management, you’ll need to enroll your devices.
You need to install Ora in all devices, so that Nubis can work. Ora will connects the edge(devices) and the cloud(Nubis). Transfer the required data and command to fulfill the functions in Nubis.



Download and install Ora

  1. Download the Windows Ora execution file from the login page of Nubis. https://www.nubiscloud.io

  2. Double-click the execution file on your devices to open it.



  3. Click the “Next” button to continue the installation process and keep the default setting with the VNC component selected. Click the “Close” button when the installation process is finished.


Activation process

  1. After the installation of Ora, an icon of Ora will be shown in the system tray.

  2. Double-click the icon of Ora. Then, the Ora interface will pop on the right corner. Users can check information about Ora and connection status here.

  3. Get a QR code and scan the QR code with your mobile.

    Then, Mobile Screen will redirect to a web page to show you the device information.





  4. Enter the Company/Merchant TOKEN to activate the device.
    This Token will determine which Company/Merchant the device belongs to, and you can change the settings later if needed.

  5. Once you enter the Token, the Ora status will show as “Activated.”

    Warning
    If the Ora Status doesn't refresh, please close the Ora window and reopen it! 


How to get the TOKEN?

Go to either Account Center or Nubis to get your activation token.

1. Get the Company Token:

Account Center > View
The device will be assigned to the warehouse under the company.

2. Get the Merchant Token:

Nubis > select a company > Device Management > merchant & Device > Select a merchant > Profile Info 
The device will be assigned to the warehouse under the company.

Switch to the target company if needed.
